The hsx-btf series of universal butterfly laser diode mounts is designed for use with lasers and other devices in a 14-pin butterfly package. These mounts have a fan-cooled heatsink with a heat spreading graphite sheet surface. They are all configured for using the internal laser TEC and one of the types has additionally an external thermoelectric cooler (TEC) integrated. In order to utilize the integrated cooler the driver needs to support an thermistor sensor and thermoelectric coolers (TEC). An LED indicates that the laser diode is enabled.
